Vash watched her move, but moved along side her, ready to catch her if she fell, or stop her if she tried to do something stupid.

Meryl clutched at thegn with her free hand,while falling then leaing against the wall as she tryed to move her wobbly legs to the door."Must stop..them..."she said gun ready she staggerd forward.
Millie sallowed."Oh.."she wa afraid,she did not want Wolfwood lost to her,again.

Vash hovered over Meryl, "Why didn't you say so?" Vash picked up his gun and took aim at Chaos's non-vital points.

Meryl moved to the door,fired into the air.Then fell face first into the sand.

Vash picked her up and brought her back inside.
Wolfwood took that as a sign that this needed to end, and soon, he came up behind Chaos and put the cross punisher up against his head, "Drop it, it's over."

Meryl coughed.'I..cant..fight...Im..to..weak....to tired...'she blinked,''Im..sorry...Vash.....it..just to much..''her eyes closed as her body realxed,her heart barely felt as she slowly begin to slip into a coma from to much blood loss.

"damn it!" Vash shouted, she wasn't bleeding at the moment, but it seemed like she had lost enoug for it to be a problem, "Don't die on me Meryl, I can't handle it, please don't die on me!"

There was no responce,she just lay there.Already having diffculty breathing on her own.Her breath rattled in her chest,gorwing fainter.Each breath a battle in its own.

Evan winced, and taking aim slammed his gun into Chaos's head.''Im so tired of your a##..''he grummbled.Then standing slung him over his shoulder and ran inside,witnessing Vash's tears.''Crap...''he mutterd kneeling beside him,''Shes slipping into a coma.''he whisperd.''We have to keep her awake some how!!'' he stood grabbing the smeeling saluce.
Meryl did not respond,her chest barely moving

Vash tried to pull himself together, he pulled out his own smelling salts, he hated to assult her with the small, but it seemed to be the only way.

Meryl tryed to hold on,from where she was she could feel Vash's sadness.'Im so sorry.' she said feeling tears wet her cheeks.Vash,Im so sorry.
She closed her eyes as she saw a white light near her. A young stranger standing within the brightness,clad in white.
Its time Meryl Strife.' He whisperd in a gental tone. Youve passed the time ou were suppose to join us.
Meryl sobbed,''Im not ready,please it cant be my time. Vash has just came back..Hes told me he loves me.Please I have to be with him.I cant leave him.I cant hurt him like that.''
The man sighed sadly,Im sorry,but theres no way around it.your names in the book.I will alllow you one mire goodbye.
Meryl's eyes flutterd open as she looked at Vash wincing from the scent of the smelling salts as she stained to touch his face,tears running down hers.''Im...sorry....it..cant..be..helped..its...my..time..Vash...please..''

"Meryl...Meryl..." He couldn't say anything else now...there was nothing to be said, he had told her everything, he had begged, pleaded with her not to leave, "Please...Meryl..." He said quietly, unable to control the tears in his eyes, "Don't..."
Wolfwood came back in to the small shack, seeing all this going on, he became very quiet, he'd seen Vash cry, seen it many times, but this...this wasn't mere sadness, this was pure despair.
