"Hey Merissa! What are you doing this weekend?" Kagome asked.
"I don't know, how about a sleep over at your house Kagome?", Merissa asked her.
Kenva Higgs: "I think tha twould be fun. I could use a break from all of these exams" Kagome said
"You know me too", Merissa said. Unlike Kagome, she had always had trouble with school.
Kenva Higgs: "Great. We can go straight to my house after school." Kagome mused, "It'll be so great to have a sleepover. I don't know the last time I had one!"
Merissa grined at this. She then went into class with Kagome.
"I'll die if there is a pop quiz today" Kagome squirmed, "I don't know the last time I studied. I really hate trig." The two girls filed in to the classroom past the other students and took their seats
Merissa took her seat beside Kagome.
"OK class. Turn to page 212... " boomed Mr. Fumisaka. "atleast its last period!" Kagome whispered in Merissa's ear
'Bummer', Merissa thought, as she turned to the page goaning about it.
As class went on, Merissa started falling asleep in class again, just like yesterday.
Kenva Higgs: "Wake up! Merissa!" Kagome shook her gently "our nodding off again... Fumisaka will give you detention"
Merissa woke up,"Maybe I shouldn't of stayed up all night studying for that 2nd period exam."
"Higarashi, if you and your friend are having trouble concentrating, there's always the principal's office!" said Mr. Fumisaka sternly. "Sorry Mr. Fumisaka" said Kagome.
Time went slowly, but finally the ringing of the final bell came.. a welcome sound for the girls
Merissa went to her house, where she lives by herself cause her parents just left her a few years back, and the rest of her family hates her. She got her bag packed and went to Kagome's house.
