Millie noded and lay back down head spinning tears of realief flooding down her eyes,''Thank god at least shes alive Mr.Vash thats somthing right,maybe shell wake soon.''she looked hopeful,though alittle scared,what if she did not wake.
Evan sighed,''Yes I a product of Knives,Im in my 70's, my Mother was a human named Maria Corssworth,Chaos killed her when I was 11 years of age under infulince of my father who took us in afterwards,til I met Rose my wife of two years,she was about to have our child when Chaos killed her as well.''

Millie nodded happliy then calmed looking to the side of the far off looking town,hopfully theyd be their soon,she had suh a head ache.
Evan sighed,God this guy had alot of queations,''do you really think he wanted you to his back up weapon or the fact he MATED with a human heh not ikely.''he looked down at his knocked out brother,''He had be caged along with my brother going through the last bit of training ned to kill Vash alongwith this Planet,somthing that aint happening as long as I breathe.''

Vash was coming up on town pretty fast now, it was in seeing distance.
Wolfwood was quite for a moment, "Yeah...I was away from base a lot too...sorry for all the questions...it's just kinda odd to me that one of the offspring of Knives is not totally insane."

Wolfwood was silent for a long moment to be sure Evan had nothing else to add, "A soul is not an easy cross to bear...I'd lost mine somewhere along the way...You uncle helped me find it again..."
Vash looked at Meryl, "Meryl? You're alive...Thank goodness." He reached out and held her hand, keeping one hand on the wheel of the jeep.
